We keep this love in a photograph; We made these memories for ourselves }} riku&namine
[Another day, another photoshoot.
More time wasted.
He shouldn't think about this world like that. But as time goes on, years pass, it's hard not to think of things like that. This weird magic-less world has become a home of sorts, Riku has lived a life here after all. But it's never quite felt right to him either.
Maybe he's just too old-fashioned, and maybe he underestimated the power of the princess's spell. Maybe it's the ridiculous sense of duty he has that seems to override his desire to pay the rent bills and get paid.
This world has it's perks, but Gods does it have it's cons. Negatives that Riku is not at all pleased to be subjected too. He'd rather deal with demons with a sword in hand than struggle to keep his studio.
Still, he has to keep up appearances especially for his next client coming in. She was very obviously his muse when it came to human subjects, and why not. Naminé is the reason he's here. She's the reason he's doing all this and why he took this space as his studio.
They need a portal to get after all, and somehow this place had it.
He sets up his equipment, screwing the lens on the camera and moving the lights around. There's a small platter with a few of her favourite treats on display and some other refreshments. She was so happy here, he wanted to treat her as best he could.
Perched on his stool, long hair in a messy bun and camera in hand, he waits for her. The door is unlocked as usual when he expects Naminé to arrive. Hopefully, she doesn't make him wait too long.]
