[A part of her questions why it had to happen. Why her parents had chosen to move out of the town they loved and treasured so much. It meant taking Aqua away from everything she knew, and everyone outside of her family that she loved.
Including her best friend...
But over time and over the years, the wounds caused by her parents' decision healed. The bitterness ebbed away. She never quite forgot about Terra and the friends she had made, but never had the chance or opportunity to come back to Departure. At least, not for years.
But now that she's older and more than capable of taking care of herself and she can afford to travel, Aqua finds her feet in Departure again. Nestled beside a mountain range and bordered by a thick forest, it was such a quaint and quiet town. Though she can't help but feel that some of the looks she's received vary. There's either a strong sense familiarity...
Or skepticism and fear.
It wouldn't take long for her to find out. Reconnecting with a few people was easy enough, though Terra seemed illusive for some reason. The past few years seemed rough, and some creature was terrorizing the town under the cover of night. They all advised her not to travel during that time, though... it couldn't be that bad, could it?
Which is why she's out, roaming the mountainside and unafraid of any 'monsters' that might be out. At most there might be an anger wolf or two, but monsters? Seems preposterous.]
