I'm so scared, but I don't show it
[They said curiosity killed the cat, right?
Could the same be said for the Miquo'te?
Since she was young and growing up in the Black Shroud, Aqua has always heard of stories and legends of the Crystal Tower. As a small child, the idea of catching a glimpse of it seemed pretty inobtainable. It was far, surrounded by powerful creatures, and seemed for all intents and purposes, a lofty and faraway goal. But the strangeness of it, the sudden appearance of it and the great changes to the landscape fueled her curiosity. So it's something of a dream come true when she finally steps foot into Mor Dhona.
The unfortunate thing is that she came alone, having split up from her companions. They were a wonderful party, having grown up together and understanding one another intimately. But ultimately, they discovered different goals along the way, and she parted ways with the Roegadyn and Lalafell. They agreed to meet up at a later time, having grabbed linkshells for everyone before parting ways, but it still troubled Aqua that she wouldn't but able to spend this moment with her best friends.
So admittedly excited but also disheartened slightly, the Keeper steps into the market of Revenant's Toll, looking for a distraction to preoccupy her mind before she heads out of the settlement once again.]

Although he still sometimes thinks of home. The Azim Steppe where he was born to a strong Xeala Au'Ra tribe. And while he is away from home he still has his polished dark scales and horns to remind him of where he came from.
This warrior is currently making his way through the markets as well when his shoulder bumps against someone nearby. He makes a noise and holds up a hand in apology.]
Sorry- Didn't see ya there. The axe is a pain like that.
[He turns to her, this cute miqo'te woman.]
You alright?

...Oh. It's just some other adventurer.
One like she's never seen before. Unfortunately, there haven't been too many Au Ra that her little party had come across. The man in front of her had broad shoulders and looked strong. He didn't dwarf her like Terra did, but he still seemed massive by comparison.
But what mostly catches her eyes are the scales, glittering in the light. Dark and beautiful, they look so striking on him, and it takes a moment before Aqua embarrasingly finds herself staring at him.
...Oops.
Ears relaxing and tail slightly poofed out by sure sheepishness, Aqua simply shakes her head, both to clear out her mind and answer his question.]
It's not very easy to move around with weapons like that, is it? [It doesn't look like she's know from personal experience, dress more in a mage's garb. She often offered to be the healer in her little party of friends She, not minding the role one bit.
Offering him a kind smile;] I'm fine. Just getting my bearings is all.

He notes the way the woman seems to fluster just slightly and Zack raises a curious eyebrow. His grin is warm and friendly after that with a keen sparkle in his eye.]
Is that so? Looks like you're more than used to handling unruly weapons. Those globes are complicated, aren't they? I think I'll take the basics of an axe over one of those.
[He's teasing, of course. He knows full well how important it is for healers to be handy with their weapons of choice.]
Are you from around here?

The tip of her dark blue tail starts to sway as she looks over her shoulder at the globe strapped to her back. Aqua rests an affectionate gloved hand on it and turns back to the man with a smile.]
A little. It looks intimidating and is a bit more complicated than a staff, but it works just as well. [It definitely attracts some attention though. Astrologians aren't very common to see either, especially when she teleports closer to home.
At his question though, Aqua simply shakes her head.] No, I just arrived here. I was traveling with my friends from The Black Shroud, but we had to split up.
[Head tilt. She feels a bit awkward about asking this, especially since there aren't many Au Ra around anyways, but you never know.] What about you?

From Kugane. A long way from home but the gil is here.
[Which makes him even more curious.]
If you had to split up from your group are you alone? Are you looking for a group? Or maybe a bodyguard? I'd be happy to lend a hand. My next rotation isn't for a week. And I could use a healer behind me.
